There are currently 44,819 active cases in Western Australia. To 8pm last night, there were 236 people with COVID-19 in hospital, eight in ICU. Today’s report includes three historical deaths dating back to 2nd of April, which were reported to WA Health yesterday. The three historical deaths are three men in their 50s. Due to patient confidentiality, no further information will be released by the Department on these deaths. There are currently 37,618 active cases in South Australia. Sadly, SA Health can confirm a woman in her 90s who tested positive for COVID-19 has passed away. There are 201 people with COVID-19 in hospital, including 13 people in ICU, one of those ventilated. Of those hospitalised, 140 people are vaccinated with two or more doses, 50 people are either unvaccinated or partially vaccinated, and 11 have an unknown vaccination status. Due to a reconfiguration of the data, the total number of cases has been readjusted. There are 222 people with COVID-19 in hospital, including 11 people in ICU, two of those ventilated.
