On Saturday, it was announced five men and four women had been diagnosed in Binjari, about 330km south of Darwin, bring the current cluster to 31 cases.
A woman from Robinson River, 1000km southeast of Darwin, became the sixth person in her community to be diagnosed.
All are Indigenous Territorians aged between 17 and 78.
"This information has only just come in this evening and tracing and all other work is happening now," Chief Minister Michael Gunner said via social media on Saturday.
"Significant work will continue overnight, and we will provide more detail on all the cases and any new cases tomorrow".
The outbreak was triggered by a 21-year-old infected woman who illegally entered the NT in late October after contracting the virus in Victoria and lying on her border entry form. Meanwhile, unvaccinated travellers will no longer be able to enter the NT from Monday, under sweeping changes to the territory's border rules.

The only exception will be essential personnel and Territorians returning from jurisdictions where COVID is not present, called green zones.

Fully vaccinated arrivals from red zones where the virus is present will be able to quarantine at home for seven days.
But they will need to have a rapid antigen test upon arrival in the NT and return a negative PCR test within 72 hours.
They must also get re-tested five, eight and 14 days after leaving quarantine and stay in a high vaccination zone away from aged care facilities and remote communities.

Binjari and the neighbouring town Rockhole will go into a hard lockdown following the detection of nine new COVID-19 cases within the Aboriginal community of Binjari in the Northern Territory.
Binjari was a cause for concern after the virus was detected in wastewater on Friday, resulting in all 230 residents getting tested.
Residents must remain in their homes and within their property and can only leave for medical reasons or for an emergency.
ADF have been mobilised to render assistance and provide the locked down residents needs and to ensure all their needs are met.

A 33-year-old female from Katherine who is a household contact of a student from MacFarlane Primary School. She was infectious in the community for two days on 14 and 15 November, is fully vaccinated and is now in quarantine at the Centre for National Resilience (CNR)
A 67-year-old male from Katherine tested positive this morning – case details are being confirmed and contact tracing is underway.
A 42-year-old male who tested positive to COVID-19 last week was admitted to Royal Darwin Hospital overnight. He is in a stable condition.

Extensive contact tracing remains underway, with 423 close contacts identified to date for cluster two. Of these, 420 close contacts have been contacted and are isolating while 361 have returned a negative test. Close contacts will continue to be tested for COVID-19 regularly throughout their 14-day quarantine period.

Lockdown extended for Katherine for 48 hours
The lockdown for the Municipality of Katherine (including Tindal) will extend for a further 48 hours, until 6pm, Wednesday 24 November. The extended lockdown in Katherine is due to pending COVID-9 test results and persistent positive wastewater results.

Lockout for Robinson River
Robinson River, including surrounding homelands, will transition from a lockdown to a lockout, effective immediately, until Wednesday, 1 December.
Under a lockout, fully vaccinated residents are able to live normally within the lockout area. Everyone must wear a mask outside of their place of residence. Travel is not permitted outside of the lockout area.

They are currently isolating in the special health accommodation, along with all other arrivals who have been in South Africa, Lesotho, Botswana, Zimbabwe, Mozambique, Namibia, Eswatini, Malawi, and the Seychelles during the 14 day period before their arrival in NSW.
1 of these 3 cases is considered likely to be an old infection. Urgent genomic sequencing is underway to determine if the other 2 people have been infected by the new Omicron B.1.1.529 variant of concern. Results are expected this evening.
Results of genomic sequencing for a person who arrived in Sydney from southern Africa on 23 November and tested positive for COVID-19 yesterday (Sunday) are also expected today. Initial testing indicates this person is unlikely to have been infected with the Omicron variant. This person, who is fully vaccinated and asymptomatic, is isolating at home in Sydney.
NSW Health confirmed yesterday that two overseas travellers who arrived in Sydney from southern Africa on Saturday evening have been infected with the new Omicron B.1.1.529 COVID-19 variant of concern. The two positive cases, who were asymptomatic, are in isolation in the Special Health Accommodation. Both people are fully vaccinated.

NSW Health can confirm initial testing strongly indicates 1 more overseas traveler, who recently arrived in NSW and is isolating at home on the Central Coast, has been infected with Omicron
When confirmed, this would bring the total number of confirmed cases of Omicron in NSW to 5. The traveler, who is fully vaccinated, arrived in Sydney on flight QR908 from Doha to Sydney on 25 November , endulged in a shopping spree in Sydney , and travelled by private car to the Central Coast where she continued her shopping spree . The traveler had been in southern Africa.
