Hi Jason, that was so nice of your cousin to give you a PS 2, once you get used to it, bet you'll enjoy a break from life while getting your mind on something else.
Sorry to hear that you are a little under the weather, hopefully it won't last long and you will feel much better before you have to return to work. Get lots of rest and drink lots of clear fluids.
By the way, we always think about you and LG. :wink:
Hapyy new year everyone. Thank you everyone who helped with LGs gift.
You were right gale it is a single box of 400. It's written in pen and I misread the first time.
New year hasn't been good so far, already had 2 big seizures and chompped my tongue pretty bad.
I've been resting in bed, just trying to sleep until the pain goes away more.
Before I get back in bed, here are some pics from just a couple hours ago when I fed LG;
Sorry the resolution is so bad... Still haven't been able to get the newer computer working so I haven't even been able to use my regular camera.
I will try to come on here more often. It's obviously not that difficult to stay in touch, but to be honest I've been so depressed the last few months that interacting with others has become too much to handle.
Wow, seriously... Thank you everyone for the essentials(soap, shampoo, razors) and the non-essentials(CANDY!).
I am fighting with my self whether or not to use the blanket for myself or LG, but I supposed it's too big for her tank anyhow. Maybe I'll give it a try tonight when it's cold and I'm sitting here awake, just staring at the TV.
Everyones little letters and pictures were very heartfelt and much appreciated; I wasn't expecting anything to come in the mail after the butterworms, so when I saw the mail man coming with a big box I was pretty sure it wasn't for me. I'm glad I was wrong!
Before I go stuff myself on those Christmas cookies, I just want to say thank you once more;
A gift's meaning doesn't lay inside the packaging or even the gift itself... To me the meaning comes from the person who gave the gift, so thank you to everyone, including those who wished to remain anonymous. :wink:
I am glad it came! Hahaha I had a heck of a time fitting everything in the box almost needed next size up. A friend of mine picked the essentials out for you I'm not great with guy stuff and many here where just as stumped on it. I made sure everyone who helped had their names on the pictures/cards.
I hope you are smiling a bit today You have a lot of people here that care about you a little LG.
Whenever you wrap up in the blanket, Jason, I hope you can feel the hugs from all of us that it symbolizes.
Here's to a better new year for you and LG.
Wow...
I first stumbled across LG when I youtubed bearded dragons. Watching your fundraiser video brought tears to my eyes. I wanted to know more, so I googled LG. I found this thread and read all 90 pages so far. I've got to say, this thread has taught me a lot of things (I've only been a beardie owner for a month lol!). It has also made me laugh and at other times cry.
I commend you Jason, and I love LG and I love you as a human. I'm so happy to find people out there who care for the scaly animals in the world, especially beardies. I have boycotted big chain pet stores, because yesterday I got walked out by an employee at PetsMart because they had a beardie missing a leg and didn't care. I began to lecture them about what beardies needed temp wise, their whole set up was wrong, and tried to get them to give me the beardie, but alas they said no and kicked me out since I kind of made a scene. You were the driving force behind this little outburst, and some people walked out of the store and praised my for standing up for the little beardie. You showed me if you try, good thing can possibly happen!
You are such an inspiration! And LG is absolutely adorable! I want to steal her for a bit and snuggle with her and give her tons of kisses! I'm looking forward to more updates!
