I have not owned one yet but, I have plans too. From what I have read a 10-20 gallon enclosure is enough to house them in. They need UV light but not a lot at all as they are nocturnal. They prefer to have a good hide. It is said they can live on sand but, I wouldn't, I would just use reptile carpet for them. I haven't found or looked for too much information on them yet, atleast until I am ready to get one.

The little one I held was really cool looking, a lot of yellow, gray, black and white. I was like seriously this |__| close to getting it. :)

I currently have 2 in a 20 gallon long tank, they are both females. If your housing more than one together just make sure they are both eating. Sometimes its hard to see if they are both eating so I weigh mine with a digital scale every sunday just to make sure they are both gaining weight or atleast remaining the same weight. Also if you chose to house two together try to get them to be about the same size. I use a red night light for the heat, a under the tank heater, have a caclium dish, and meal worm dish, a dry hide, and a moist hide.

Also some breeders just put their beardies in 5-10 gallon plasic bins, or even shoe boxes under their bed.
