Hello im just a little worried about my lizard his become lazy, im not sure if his blind also as he don't respond to my hand movements and sits out in the could on top of the slate rather than under the light, but he seem healthy eats and moves around in his basking spot its around 35c. what im asking is how would u know if he was blind or ill? images to follow
i'm not an expert but i don't think he's blind.. my beardie is the laziest n quite often he won't respond to my hand movements either, if he doesn't see you as a threat and is used to you being around there's not really much reason for him to respond to your movements.. if he can chase down and catch food i think its unlikely his eyesight has failed.. if you're worried about him being ill, maybe get fecal done by a vet?
i think your right just one other thing not sure if anyone else has this but our lizard wont poo in his cage only if we take him out and put him into water other wise he will go days without pooing?

yeah, corinthian's the same too.. i think some of them just don't like to stink up their tanks and realise if they dont go your gonna put them in the bath to do it.. sometimes he goes the minute he touches the water, as though he's been hanging on for his bath... they can be smart wee beasties when they wanna be!
