I agree, lighting is such a big issue & they are very light & heat sensitive. The red lighting
will cause lethargic behavior which can be interpreted many times as them being ill but it is
just the overall brightness.
If you change out your lighting I do think it will definitely help out the activity level. I am glad
to hear he is still eating though. He is a little cutie & looks to be healthy based on the picture
you posted.
Let us know how he is doing & I hope your new light gets there soon.
Got the UV lamp I could find! Its a 15watt UV 50 desert series from Zilla hope thats alright, wanted to post to see if the image and set up is alright? It gave two options to put on top or inside, I opted for outside for right now until I could get a way to mount it inside!
Please get it in the tank - take the plastic cover off the bulb and get this bulb a Reptisun 10.0 T 8 - it will go right into that fixture - as of now hes hardly getting any UVB -- the screen is blocking 30% of the UVB rays and if the cover is on it more than that - the bulb I recommended is a way better bulb it will need to be changed out in 6 months I recommend a month before - so mark your calendar please -- here are some ways to hang in the tank
3 M command Velcro fasteners- picture hanging wire –long plastic zip ties-- fishing line - potted plant wire hangers -- shoe laces

Oh i definitely plan on buying the better bulb! I just had the money sadly for this one this week. Ill figure out how to connect it on the inside, the only issue I'm finding is there is no like hole to fit a ziptie through to put it onto the tank?
