I am super concerned about a growth on my beardies left eye that, over the past 2 weeks, has grown to be enormous. Now the right eye looks like it may be beginning to have the same problem. No herp vet nearby that I can find. Ideas? I don't want her to be in pain, but they want over $175 to euthanize her if needed. Trying to submit a photo but can't figure out how to do so.
Poor girl, that sounds rough. The growth sounds like it's moving very quickly which makes me wonder if it's an abscess. It might be treatable, but you'll want to find a vet with experience treating dragons. I would check the ARAV site for an associated vet nearby and start there. If you have a veterinary teaching hospital in the area, that is likely to be a good way to go as well, but there aren't a lot of them around.
If you can post some photos, it would be helpful. You can upload photos here https://www.beardeddragon.org/useruploads/ and then post them to your thread using the XIMG button when you reply.
So sorry to hear your dragon is having some trouble, that is too bad. A picture would be
helpful if possible.
It does sound like a possible abscess, or maybe even some type of aneurism. We will
try to help as much as we can. Let us know how she is doing & if you are able to find
a vet to take her on.
How did things go? Did they ever find out just what this was?
For those wondering about pictures. They did manage to get uploaded, but we upgraded the site right at that time. The images are in Melirdec's "Legacy Uploads" (where the old upload system images were put for everyone).

The vet determined that it was an aneurism and she had to be euthanized but they said it would have gotten progressively more painful otherwise. Said it’s not common but she had seen it before. Thanks for asking!
