This may sound a little weird, but do any of you ever kiss your beardie?
I want to so much cause I really love Stryker, but I am afraid of Salimanella. We do "Eskimo Kisses" instead and rub noses. Stryker seems to like it.
As long as your mouth isn't coming in contact with his fecal matter you'll be fine. It's all part of practicing good hygiene (bathing your beardie, etc). I've given mine a smooch on the head plenty of times  I get crazy eyes from my girlfriend, I think she's jealous
I give my girls kissies all the time  they usually close their eyes and get all cuddled up after I do it. I also make sure to keep them clean and I always make sure my hands and such are clean also.
As cute as my beardie is, I am too cautious about germs to do it hahaha. I give him baths too but I get the feeling he wouldn't like it too much anyways. If yours do though more power to you.
I do this often with Taiga, after bath time and especially before bed time! I just love her so much I wanna snuggle and smooch her nose! She seems to like the attention, as often she'll scratch to be outside. Sometimes even sleep on my computer desk!
I used to give slim kisses all the time she loved her kisses she most often would come up my chest put her front feet on my chin and put her snout up against my lips. ... I miss her so much

Yep, give them both kisses!!!! I will give Puff an exagerated kiss and smooch her , then open my mouth,,like mwau! Anyway, she will do it back to me!! She is so sweet. Deuce does it too, but I'm not sure if its the same, only had him a 1 1/2 weeks.
Kisses kisses kisses and more kisses. When my son told my grandbabies doctor i had reptiles she told him Do Not let your kids have contact with them due to salmonella. My sons reply was my mom keeps her tanks very clean and your more at risk of salmonella when eating out. So kiss away love your beardie..
Your dragon's mouth is as clean as the last cricket or cockroach it just ate, or the poo that it may have sampled. Or as clean as the water it just did the same in,. O.K., I will get booted off this thread by the dragon kissers, [ LOL ] but it is not completely safe, babies , the elderly and people with weak immune systems should avoid it just to be safe!
I kiss Nim all the time! But last night I had a weird urge to lick him. Yes, I said lick. I didn't, of course. But that urge was so weird! But yeah, every time I have Nim out I lather him with kisses!

Okay, you would probably say the same thing about a dog. But if I ever have a dog I'll let him lick me as much as I want. It is a natural behavior. For puppies, it mean they want food. Because when they lick the mother wolf's mouth she regurgitates her food. But with adult wolves it is a sign of submission. Sorry about the factoid AHBD. But I like to kiss all my animals. Birds, reptiles and bugs (if they don't bite.) Also dogs and cats if I ever have any. And I have one heck of a strong immune system. I have never had a vaccine in my life and am still healthy as a horse!
And I think all of us on this site are weird. When I was telling my brother sister about this site and Nim they called me a 'beardie nerd' So I guess we're all weird beardie nerds. But having those critters does that!
