Hey! My beardie always has his night temp from 72-75, but that's with our heat running. Our furnace went out, and isn't getting fixed until morning. It's starting to get below freezing where I am, and our patio leaks like crazy(he's a good 20ft away though). I'm just worried that since the heats not working, his viv will get way too cold. I don't have a ceramic heat bulb. All I have his a red bulb that produces way too much light for him. What can I do to make sure his viv stays at a temp that I won't wake up, and he be a popsicle?
He should be ok for one night as dragons can tolerate mid 60 temps. Maybe pickup a good heating pad if it ever happens again slide it under where he sleeps at night. That will keep him toasty.
Well, it's day number 2 of no heat. His temp stayed around 72F last night, but tonight it supposed to be colder. The office gave us a space heater, and I have it on the table that's about 4 feet away from him. It's keeping his temp about 70F. If the heat doesn't get fixed tomorrow, I'll go and get a heat pad. Thank you for your help!
