For about a week now my beardie Izzy has been acting quite erratic. She seems to run up and down the back of the tank and scratches and jumps up the side of the tank. She seems to stop for a few minutes, basks then carrys on. She hasn't been eating as much recently and has lost abit of weight.
She did have worms awhile back but haven't been able to take another sample to the vet for weeks as she either doesn't poop for days and im not her to collect the sample or she does it while batheing or in her water? Could worms then cause this behaviour?

Mine is around 10 week's old and has started jumping and scratching at the glass, i think its because he can see his reflection. if he's ever near glass he jumps at it.
My baby just started doing this too. It's like he tries to get into the background picture of the desert. It is so funny. I believe mine is doing this because he's getting more comfortable in his new enviroment. We have had him two weeks and all he did was bask under his light. Now he is exploring which is fun to watch.
found out today, she still has worms. Strange to say but Im glad. At least I know now why she's not eating as much and not been her self. Taking her to the vets monday to start her treatment. Hope to have the old Izzy back soon.
Glad to hear you know whats up.if only they came w/ voices!Usually if they are over active or under active you know somethins up.Does that make any sense to anyone else?????No,just a beardie slave!
