Jiffy's beardies, Someone New!** pg 42

I do not have a thread for all of my boys day to day adventures.
I will start one here. I have bunches of pictures and cuteness, but dont want to overload anyone, so I will add stuff along.

Waffle just turned 4 on April 2nd. I have had him since he was about 6 weeks old.
Sweet boy, laid back, doesnt like to eat half the time. And he hates my boyfriend Butch! :lol:

Foster is my Craigslist beardie. I had not been looking for another beardie, but saw an add on Craigslist that said looking for a home for 3 legged baby bearded dragon. Well, that was all it took.
He will be 3 on June 16th. I have had him since he was almost 6 weeks old. He likes to eat, and head bob and black beard, and just lay around being bright orange!

Brady is my newest baby, and was my 2009 Valentines Day Present. He was in a local petstore, he was missing an arm, had no uv light, barely being fed, very tiny, in nasty conditions. I tried for 2 months to get the store to give him to me, or sell him to me. They said they were keeping him as a pet. Finally my boyfriend got him for me for Valentines Day. I think he is a bit more persuasive than I am! :wink:
He turned 1 on August 1st.

Waffle, you are one silly looking dragon, but you can sure jump! Our bunch are full of hormones, too. Lonzo has taken to dragging a small pillow with a picture of Sweetie on it, it's his love object. Roger went into the living room yesterday while Lonzo was biting at his pillow & he attacked Roger's shoes, giving him the big tongue push to get him away from his pillow. :mrgreen: Wild! Leo, meanwhile, bobs his head so much I'm afraid he'll bob it off. Didi, on the other hand, is very laid back & doesn't bob or black beard nearly as often. For Leo, it's non-stop all day. Rubio's up, too, and does his share of bobbing, too. His back right leg isn't working very well since he woke up from a 3 mo brumation, so he's getting liquid calcium daily & if he's not better by next week, he's going to the dreaded VET!

I'm wondering the same thing. It looks as if he's trying his darnest to not touch the floor, almost like he's running away from evil poop or something :laughing6:

I just love seeing Waffle pics. He's such a silly goose, but always wearing that "huh, I'm not doing anything" look.

Deb, that is hilarious that Lonzo is carrying around a Sweetie pillow, and attacking things!
Hope that the Rubes legs are better and that he doesnt have to go to the vet, poor guy!

Lori and Gina, he just jumped from the floor to the hut to the top of the hut and then to the hammock. That was kind of a mid-action picture there, which is why it looks like he is not trying to touch anything. And he does always have the most innocent look, like, what? I didnt do anything, it wasn't me! lol

He is mean! He just spent about the last half hour trying to bite me, he almost nabbed me good once.
I dont know why he is so mean sometimes. I am determined to not let him get the best of me though. I will win! (or lose a finger trying)

What?! Duckie?! Mean?! Biting?! No way, you must've confused him with someone else.

I dont know what his problem is. I think it just had to do with the people that had him before me. Sometimes he is ok, but a lot of the time, he tries to bite! And of course he goes crazy when he sees any of the other beardies, he is probably the wildest one when he sees the other beardies.

Sorry to hear Duckie's gotten back to his bad behaviour, glad he hasn't gotten you yet! Waffle does look funny in the pic you took. Sounds like he's getting alot of exercise. I started giving Rubio and Sweetie Carnivore care, to help with protein, as they're not eating many if any worms. So with that & liquid calcium, I think Rubio will be better in no time. Lonzo is sleepy & kind of slow (for him) and he's been semi-brumating (?!) Didi is his regular mellow self and Leo really enjoys jumping, stamping, black bearding & bobbing. Rubio loves to get all of them going. He just sits it from of the credenza they're tanks are on, look up until that particular beardie is going nuts, then goes to the next & next. They all calm down for awhile, then Rubio back again, harrassing them all. If only one of the four is up, he'll be looking for all his bobbing buddies...they're just so funny!

Tell Waffle Sweetie is slowly getting better & so is Rubio. When they're both back to normal, it will be spring party-time.

LOL, that is funny that Rubio is working the room, getting everyone worked up!
Glad all your babies are doing good. Tell Sweetie to eat and be a good girl, and no more eggs! Tell her that she has to be good for her and Waffle to have their spring fling!

I just took some beardie pics a few minutes ago. I will post some if any of them turned out decent. Hopefully they did!
