Just a small update on Luis.
The good thing is, he is still kicking and I feel like he is moving a little more.
The bad thing is that he still has zero interest in food and he is still loosing weight.

Thanks again everyone for taking the time and keeping your fingers crossed for Luis.

It scares me to open this thread every time, then I'm relieved after I do. I sincerely hope the best for him

Man, I feel the same way. I really want Luis to get better! I hope his poor appetite is due to the medication and he will recover soon.

Back when I "rescued" him, he was 190g (for the same size basically). He is a little over 350g now but you can see that he lost some muscle and his tail looks even now, not that typical pear-shape. He doesn't seem critical right now but you never know.
I'll mix up his food from field lettuce to romain lettuce just to be sure....

I'm not used to seeing him so dark, I've always thought he is one of the prettiest beardies here.
I sure hope he pulls through and is ok. I couldn't imagine he could find any better care than what you'll give him

Well, he seems to be moving a bit more but still no interest in food. His poop is getting a bit more solid also. His basking spots gets to around or just shy of 40°C. He is basking quite a lot and has been all the time since the meds....

They definitely love being with us. Foxy has a striped belly, but when you pick him up, his belly turns clear and yellow in seconds, I bet it even starts to glow, lol.

The same with Luis. If you'd see him sometimes you wouldn't recognise him, he gets almost black.
Lilly not so much, I have never even seen a grey beard on her. But her tail will get dark a bit if she feels uncomfortable...

I can see in his face he hasn't been feeling well. His color is more like I'm used to in that picture though.
It hurts my heart knowing he's been unwell, Lois and @NickAVD Foxy both have always struck me as mighty dragons I've heen pretty much enamored with both for as long as you guys have been posting about them.

We can all get sick, both humans and dragons, it happens. The main thing is to have a loving and caring person nearby. I'm glad that Luis has one. I'm worried about him too, but I hope everything will be fine.

I doubt he could be in better hands
