Indeed, that early. Eyes are open, looks interested. But usually not coming out of his cave before the enclosure has heated up nicely under the lamps and in the sunshine.
But mine is also lazy in some kind: The won't take a bug that is out of a 15 cm range of him
(No serious issues: He takes insects from a dish, and he for sure can see very well. But running for a bug? Rarely.)
