My dragon, Viggo, has been burmating since October. I've missed him so much. Today, Christmas morning, I wake up to find him wide awake, out of the box, and basking! He just didn't want to miss Christmas. Now I just wish the pet store was open so i could him some Christmas Crickets. This was the best Christmas present. I'm just glad I decided to bring him home with me, and not leave him sleeping at my apartment at school.
Well, the day after Christmas, he spent all day sleeping in his box. I think I might have tired him out. I brought him out to play when he woke up christmas day and he ran all over the place. On the 27th, he was up again, and has been up, active, and awake (during the day, he is sleeping at night) since then. So far he hasn't really eaten anything. Just a few small greens I manage to lay on his tongue when I find him sitting with his mouth open. He's had no interest in his superworms. He has however been drinking quite a lot of water. Well, a lot for him. He never drinks so anything more than a few drops is good. I'm thinking part of him not eating may be something like relocation stress. He's not at home, I'm at my parent's for a few weeks and brought him in his travel box. It's a good thing I didn't just leave him at home to burmate, considering he woke up. He also has yet to get any UVB. That's at home. I'm sure that also has something to do with his appetite.
