I guess it relaxes their back legs. My Taco can also sit in super weird positions, e.g. front legs grabbing climbing structure, back legs free in the air, supported by the tail. But this looks hilarious

She is extremely active and entertaining. If we talk to her she interacts with us to.

Awwwww. Listen, Ruby does the same thing.they love that thing. I think as they grow they refused to let go. Lol let's see how creative the, the bigger they get.

I pushed Ruby's next to the glass for ecpxtra support since he likes to watch TV on it.

It looks to me bearded dragons often look for ways to get their weight off their back legs.

My Taco hadn't chosen that exact position yet as there is simply no structure that looks similar (with a knob in the middle). But the sits like: front feet on a branch, tail propped up on a climbing structure 20 cm away, and the back feet are in the air in between those two things. Or front feet grabbing a climbing structure, he hangs down, tail an the ground like a kangaroo to offer support to his body - back feet dangle in the air.

Similar photos posted here by a lot of people look to me like: getting weight off the back feet. Like we do with sitting on a chair to relax from standing, which serves this purpose better than sitting on the ground - for them being able to let the back feet dangle with propped up on something serves this purpose also better than lying flat on the ground

On the other hand, a humans walks only on his legs and they get tired more than his arms, but dragons distribute the weight on all four legs, so all four legs should get tired evenly.
