ok the one on the cool side for ambient temps is good but you want that probe one for the hammock if your using that as a basking area - place the probe on the hammock where she sits for basking and get the surface basking temp- do her eyes look like they are starting to shed - sometimes they will bulge which means they are stretching to loosen the skin if they are going to shed - and yes you can can replace it like ahbd posted -- as long as she has the T5 that she can sit directly under it and the good surface basking temps shes going to go to those lights as she needs them - she knows what she needs -- have you tried recording the video on you tube? take that link and post it when you get it of her walking --Her cool side is at exactly 80 right now, I only have a light bulb on that side. I have a hand held digital probe I think. I attached a picture of what I have. I’ve never used it because I didn’t know how to use it properly or even what it was for to be honest. I need to put a basking spot under the tube light? Sorry I’m getting a little confused. She has a basking area that’s right under her basking bulb and mercury vapor bulb. My son asked me if it was burning her because the screen is cut out so I lowered her basking area because any higher it burns your hand so I assumed it was too hot for her as well. Idk I have struggled with getting the lights perfect but I must be missing something. I definitely need to keep track of dates on them, that’s for sure. I did at first but things get chaotic and my adhd takes over and I feel bad that I didn’t keep up on that. Thank you by the way for helping me. I just want the best for her and I still seem to be doing something wrong.
