is this safe?

Charizard has been with me for nearly a month and I visited him every couple days two weeks prior to adopting him. Since I first visited him he's had these scales on his back leg, I assume they're from a previous shed that never successfully came off

the shop owner said it was fine and the vet said it was fine and normal when we got him checked up a couple weeks ago, but now his legs are shedding again and they're starting to discolour further. should I be worried? I'm thinking about taking him to the vet again to get it checked out.

[for context he's about 4 months old and all of his eating, sleeping and shedding habits are otherwise routine and healthy, no signs of stress]
