i just got a one year old female pastel beardie i named Gypsy.right now i have her in a small tank, but my mom bought a large 64 quart storage container.she put paper towls in the bottom and it's out in our pool enclosure in the sun.i put Gypsy in it but it didn't seem like she was happy at all.the moment i put her in,when the container was in the shade, she was bumping into the walls and trying to climb up them.i dusted some crickets and put them in the container, and some superworms but she completely ignored them.i pulled her out after a few minutes and saw the edges of the bottom of her beard were black.i'm nervous so...i don't know what to do!was what she doing natural and should i have just left her alone?or should i forget the container all together?this was suppost to be a temporary thing until my dad could build an enclosure to mount to my bedroom wall.
okay, apparently i had it wrong.the container is meant to be an outside only sort of thing,so she can get sun until we get a vapor bulb.but still, she seems to hate it!or is it normal for them to try climbing the walls?
When my kong is in a position that he doesnt like he turns black also when he is in the sun and its not warm enough. but at the same time when he is happy or out playing he gets very bright in color so there mood has a lot to do with color change
