I recently ordered a ceramic heat emitter and I was wondering if a fixture for a regular heat bulb is ok. It also has a dimmer.
You want a dome that is deep and has a ceramic socket - make sure you get a wattage over what your going to use for the bulb wattage -- example 100 watt bulb you want a 150 or 160 wattage domeI recently ordered a ceramic heat emitter and I was wondering if a fixture for a regular heat bulb is ok. 250 is a lot - what are you using it for and is that the dome wattage or bulb?I got one that specifically said that it works with ceramic heat emitters. The wattage is 250, which is a bit more than I need, but it should still work.
