My girl hasn't been eating at all, and sleeping most of the day.. She rarely is getting out of her hidy-hole, and it's kinda scaring the crud out of me..
She's about 3 years old, and I've never had this happen before.. (I've only had her for a year though)
She's 19 inches. Temps are at 70 in the nights, 85 in the day with her basking temps between 100 and 105, depending on where she's laying..
I haven't been able to get her to eat anything at all, even when I offer her very yummy worms or greens, even tomatoes (they're her favorite) she won't touch.
I keep bathing her, but I've yet to get her to do a bowl movement, and it's been almost two weeks..
Eep!
If she's not eating then she won't have bowel movements, except
for the occasional urate passing, and even that may not happen
much during brumation.
It sounds like brumation to me.
I'm in the same boat, both Mellow and Rico have stopped eating.
Mellow for about a 5 weeks now, Rico for the past 2 weeks.
Mellow just hides in the shade, but isn't really out.
Rico is dead to the world unless I pick him up, then we wakes up a bit.
I'm just monitoring weights to ensure nobody is losing weight, and making
them take baths 2x a week to stay hydrated (normal baths are every other day
when they are eating normally, as both are bath poopers).
Other than that, just waiting until they start losing weight or perk up on their own.
