So yesterday Hue Jackman was having his dubia roach dinner and looked super happy and fat so I took a few photos of him and posted them on a herp FB group that I am apart of and jokingly commented "Do you think he is fat enough?" ... and then quite a few people responded that he was TOO fat. Mind you he had yet to have his bowel movement of the day, and literally just had three roaches. I think he looks healthy, but is he too healthy ?
Heres the pic I posted which got the backlash:
And one from today after a little digestion and a substantial bowel movement:
I was literally getting ready to create a post about the exact same thing with my dragon Loki. No one else has said anything about my dragon being too fat, however I was wondering myself whether she is too large for her age. Mine is about 8 months old.
Here is a pic of Loki - this was several hours after having a bowel movement.
In your first pic of Hue he does look a little big, however I realize that this was before taking a poo In the second pic though I don't think he looks overly large, although I'm probably not the best authority on the subject since I'm seeking an opinion on the same thing.
Also, I'd just like to say that Hue is a very beautiful dragon. I believe he's in calendar E along with my Loki (unless there's another user with a dragon named Hue Jackman) I purchased one of the calendar's and it turned out wonderful!
