last night cinder went to the edge of the couch where we were stting together and just fell off. then she ran across the room and ramed right into the cabinet. she is very alert but when htings dont move or dont have a smell she doesnt know they're there. right now she is watching me type and that is what she can see but once i stop she watches the tv only because it moves. help me
hmm. she just did it again she flopped over the back of the couch luckly she didnt get hurt. i think she is near-sited by our standerds. but she has no problem in her cage not even when i move stuff. im just afraid she is going to hurt herslf so i dont take her out as often as i used to.
It's quite common for dragons to run into stationary objects - they don't pay the same kind of attention as we do. If it looks like a tunnel for instance - maybe a shadow, flare of light, dark marking or even red colouration, they often try to go through it. My Kyle is always trying to climb in the "tunnel that isn't there" above my skirtingboard.
Ok so today she was fine but when we went outside and came back in she started to lick me when i picked her up. so i guess i just want to know whats going on in her head is all. by the way the head is me and the wall is her brain
Hehehe nice metaphor. Beardies like to mess with your mind. I'll be darned if I can work out why Tsam likes to wander around with an eggbox on his head.
*winks* click the link then honey, it'll take you straight to Tsilly Tsam's thread with his eggbox movie. Repeated here: viewtopic.php?f=49&t=105613&hilit=
The Reverend's quite right, extra lighting will help balance out the shadows
