Is my beardie a hypo or any special kind or is he just normal?

I have never seen my beardie’s parents but he is a male and I’m not sure if he is any special type or not? If you can help that would be much appreciated!

He also looks to be a leatherback. Look at each nail,if even 1 nail has a black stripe on top and parallel to the nail he is not a hypo, if they are clear he is a hypo. You may see a very slight dusting of black, that does not disqualify him as a hypo. Hypo means a huge reduction of dark pigment not an absence of it(that would be Leucistic or Albano) (there are no trye Albano beardies)
To answer you question, they are ALL special Yours just happens to be a little more special. He is a cutie and should be stunning as an adult.

What quality’s a leatherback?

Leatherbacks have a reduction in scale size, and are a lot less spikey than a normal, they also don't have the bumpy skin texture of a normal. Their skin feel closer to our skin than that of a normal beardie.
The 1st pic is Snicker Doodle, she is a normal scale.
The 2nd is Ruby she is a leatherback.
