Is my bearded dragons tail rotting or broken?

Hey I'm a new beardie owner and this is cheeto! I've been worried about his tail, I've looked into tail rot but my mom says she thinks it's broken or injured (im 18 and thus is my first actual pet) I'll link photos below but I need help ASAP! I don't want to make this go untreated because I only think its broken and I don't know how to go about it if its rot or broken. Thank you!

He also doesn't show any signs of pain unless I touch it

First off, your beardie is adorable
Second it's not tail rot. It could be a tail kink, or it could have been broken. Keep a close eye on it though, if the blood flow is restricted the end could start to die. If the tip starts to shrivel up and look like it's dying, get him to the vet and get it amputated. If tail rot were to start it can poison the system and become fatal.

I agree, your little one is so sweet!
The tail doesn't look bad, but the end appears injured. Did Cheeto get it caught in between a rock or
something in the tank? It does look a little bent at the end. I would keep an on it as suggested, to be
sure no infection sets in.
You can get some antibiotic ointment or colloidal silver gel to put on the end of it, to help out right now.
