I don’t know if my male beardie is required to breed or not is it an important step in their lifetime to mate? I don’t know but my beardie is about six months old and is identifiably a male, does that mean he has reached sexual maturity? If he HAS to mate what age and how should I go about doing it,cause I only have one beardie. Oh and would he show any signs to say he wants to mate? I really don’t know, please help this noob out! Thanks in advance xx
No , still a juvenile , but if he encountered a adult female he'll be "interested".
Plenty of people have lone bearded dragons who are male and they live long happy lives if the food is appropriate and they get proper husbandry and care.
