I have been watching Roran's tail for the past two week because it looked like he was going in to a slow shed but I wanted to make sure it wasn't tail rot. It doesn't look like tail rot I am just being over protective. Yesterday I counted 10 pattern rings up to where the darker color stops and there were a few pale scales. Today when I went to check on it those scales felt like a knot and then tonight it looks sort of bent. Is it MBD? I have the ReptiSun 10.0, he is about 9/10 months old and I've had him since December. I moved him into his new viv on June 22nd and he went through relocation stress and ate fine for a week. I went on a vacation for 5 days and he barely ate every other day for my brother, he is kind of a fussy dragon. When I came back he ate for me immediately but only once a day now, some times every other day. In these feedings he eats anywhere from 6 to 12 crickets. This makes it hard to get enough calcium in him, thats why I have been watching so closely. He poops nice at least every other day and has a white belly all the time. Temps are about 105-75. What should I do?
I diluted 100% grape juice and added calcium and attempted to feed it to him, as well as squash. He flicks off anything you put on his nose and he has jaws of steel that he will not let a syringe pass in. Please help!
