So I like to take my Blaze outside for him to run around.
He will lick the grass and rocks and run through the grass, and look at things.
He also likes to bask in the sun, but if I reach towards him, he runs!
I guess he doesn't want me to pick him up, but if theirs a loud sound, he hides in my shadow!
He also will start puffing and open his mouth sometimes, then he clings on me when I pick him up!
But could he be running around scared instead of having fun in the yard?
Sounds like he's enjoying it if he's licking things and looking around. From what I've seen they go on high alert when they are outside (understandably so) and small things can set them into fear. When I see that it's time to go inside. I usually stick very close by as well. Generally speaking I think most of them enjoy time outside though.
