Hey, I got a new bearded dragon like 6 months ago but his appetite comes in waves- one day he'll eat non-stop and others simply refuses to eat anything (even his favourite- wood roaches  )
--Side note: I got him with his tail like this- it has gradually gotten a little bit darker and this white patch has formed on the end of his tail,, is it ok? or should I push forward the vet regular checkup? Thanks--
Something about his tail doesn't look 'right' to me, it looks swollen in some way. I'm not sure if that's because part of it is missing or there's something else to it. When was your little fellow last checked at the vet and are they an experienced reptile vet?

Last time we got him checked up was early September/ late August- for a claw trim and checkup, nothing seemed wrong to the vet. The vet said that they didn't specialise in bearded dragons specifically but they had experience with other lizards and reptiles. (Although that vet closed down a couple months ago so it's a new one we are checking out)
When we first got him I was a little wary of his tail but it didn't seem to bother him or the vets
I'm glad the state of his tail in no way impairs him or bothers him My Iggy might be losing his tailtip soon, and I'm a little worried (as you would be). It seems such injuries are common though due to pet-shops housing multiple males together in the one vivarium, alas.
