Is a red light okay for a bearded dragon during the day?

My basking light recently went out and the pet store in town only sells colored bulbs. The only one they had that was the right temperature was a red one, and I was wondering if it's okay to use? She's basking under it right now and doesn't seem upset or anything but you never know. (The only other pet stores are in the next town over and I won't be able to leave town for the next few weeks)

I wouldnt use it at all, most likely just go to a regular store a pick up a few regular light bulbs that produce a lot of heat of different wattage's or order online.

I agree, get a normal bright white household bulb.

The color of lights are extremely important to many aspects of a dragons health. Most people think that the uvb bulb is really the only important light, not true. A red bulb throws off this delicate dance of providing adequate artificial lighting to our dragons. A bright white bulb is necessary to provide the yellow-red spectrum that is missing from the predominantly blue spectrum that the uvb bulb puts off.

I just walked into my room and instead of looking at me, Swordtail's eyes darted directly to the ice cream drumstick I'm holding
Finally replaced Swordtail's substrate

What is a quick way to warm up a cold beardie? His heating element went out overnight and now he's very cold.
