Hi
It's been quite a while since I've been posting here. My health this last year has been crappy. I've missed being here and a lot has happened. On a happy note I've got a new beardie. His name is Spike and he was my sisters daughters beardie. Her two boys lost interest in him and she hasn't got time to look after him properly so I took him in. I think he's a she but I'm not sure as he was very plump when I got him and I couldn't tell. He's since lost weight and I got him on a good diet of salad and a lot less crickets then what he was being fed. But enough of that and on to my question. I will introduce him with pics later in the intro section
I am having a problem with Draco. Now they are not living together and are not out together but if Draco sees Spike on the floor from his tank, he goes ape black bearding and charging into the glass. If he's out, he charges over to Spikes tank and goes ape trying to get to him. BTW the tanks are up off the floor. Spike seems to not care about whether or not he sees Draco if he's out. How do I deal with Draco? Will this pass cause I've had Spike since last November? Oh and Spike is around 2 yrs old. I just worry about Draco hurting himself. Any advice would be very helpful.
Boy I missed you all!!!

Unfortunately I doubt it will pass. When I brought my 2nd home after having Sarth for about 9 months, he went nuts when he saw her. He couldn't even be in the room where her tank was without spazzing, didn't matter if he could see her or not! That was two years ago and nothing has changed except that I got another baby girl last May. Now that she's almost a year old she's started showing dominance over my older girl, head bobbing at her just as frantically as my male does when just a couple months ago they got along fine.
The only advice I can give you is make sure they can't see each other. I had to put Sarth's tank in a different room from the girls and I try not to let him go outside that room. He knows which room has their tanks so it's better that he doesn't go in there, and when I have the girls out I can just close the door to his room.
