I have no idea who this is (Giverit) but they sent me this email:
I HAVE BRED THEM OVER 10 YEARS AND ALL MY DRAGONS DRINK WATER THAT IS NOT MOVING I HAVE 30 FEMALES AND AND 10 MALES HAVE HATCHED 1124 BABIES THIS YEAR AND ALL ARE DRINKING OUT OF A WATER DISH BEFORE THEY ARE SOLD .I PUT A BOWL OF WATER IN THERE THERE GET EXCITED AND DIVE IN HEAD FIRST AND GUZZLE SO I DONT HAVE A CLUE WHY YOUR WONT
I'm guessing they read the caresheet on our website. They sound pretty passionate about it. I guess ALL of their dragons are smarter than 98% of the beardie population. What do you think?
Elliott will too IF I agitate the water first. In other words, if i take my finger and make little splashing sounds, he jumps right in. However if I just throw a bowl of water in there after the initial use, he won't do anything with it. I am pretty sure the guy is leaving out a part of his story
Hmph he sounds like an idi0t to be honest and most likely a liar. None of my dragons touched water if it wasn't moving either by letting the water drip into the tub or by me splashing it.
Have to say i agree with lacy.My beardie dose not respond to a bowl of still water when he feels thirsty he gose to the kitchen and pours a glass himself lol
yeah, i've never seen mine drink from her water dish in her tank, but she loves it when i drip the water with my finger onto her mouth, she always drinks when i bath her as well, she's only ever gone for her water dish once and that was when i made it move with my finger but even then she preferred the drips off my finger... weird that his are able to do it straight away, without assistance as well
