Hello, recently I went to the pet store to get my other bearded dragon Supra some worms. As I usually do I was looking at the Bearded dragons and noticed one that had an injured tail, so I purchased them. Luckily I still had my bearded dragons old tank and an extra basking light + UVB tube bulb.

The injury doesn't seem to be bothering them as they haven't shown any darker beard, stress marks, or limping. They still dash around their tank after smaller crickets aswell.

I was wondering if there is anything I can do as the injury looks to be on the older side.

Hi, it's hard to say whether there is more damage under the scales and creeping up through the tissue. For now , Betadine soaks may help kill bacteria [ 1 part betadine to 10 parts water ] If your dragon will sit with you , you can dangle his tail in a small jar or cup of the Betadine mixture for 5-10 minutes a day. If he doesn't sit still for that you can soak him the usual way with the Betadine mixture in a small plastic tub.
After it's dry you can apply raw honey or Neosporin. Hopefully it won't get worse but update here if it does and schedule an appt. with a qualified reptile vet.

I have questions about bubbles on our bearded dragons eye.

So he’s gotten bubbles on his eye. We wiped them off and it’s only been twice in the last few weeks. Should we be concerned? No coughing or congestion. He’s very hungry and sleeps well. He’s 8-9 month range. His humidity is 30-40 day time and as high as 50-55 at night to early morning.
Should we be concerned?
Swordtail has been doing a whole lot of "Lizard yoga" lately
Currently trying not to stress over my anemic dragon....she is being treated, but I don't agree with her treatment plan and have been seeking out a second opinion from another vet. If anyone else has dealt with anemia, please let me know how it was resolved. I am losing sleep over this
Another post lol. My beardie does not like enclosures. Her tank is the kids room and she has created a nesting/bed spot in the corner. She will cuddle with my son but she know when the lights are out and the kids go to sleep, she literally goes to her bed like she is our 3rd baby. I love her. And to think, I never wanted a beardie lol
