Infertile not eggs.?

Nova is 2 and we want to breed her before long. But she's never laid a single infertile egg. She once had some suspected follicles once but I guess she reabsorbed them because she never laid eggs. Since she never has, would she still be able to lay fertile eggs.? I know with people, the eggs have to be there first, is it the same for our beardies.?? Is this a dumb question.? I feel dumb asking it.

The eggs do not have to be there first, females can hold the sperm for about a year and lay multiple clutches from one pairing. So if you do breed her be prepared for multiple clutches of viable eggs. Also I've read pairing the female can induce egg production but I'm 100% sure if that is factual.
