I'm building a two level aquarium. Calling it the double decker tanko lol. Had an aquarium with a broken bottom, let's take it apart and put it on top of another lol. Building the frame to connect the two.

Cutting straight lines with a saw is the toughest part. Otherwise a lot of hitting stuff with a hammer so far lol With the angles, tightness etc... that's kind of tough. Vise grips in the vise with two different pliers bending it and if course 3 of the bends were on metal with holes in it. Repositioned the vise grips multiple times over those holes and slow bending before beating over a chunk of wood to straighten.

A map gas torch to heat it first might make it easier

It's sheet. I will probably heat it where I did a lot of bending then rebending then bending back and rebending lol I'm sure it's stressed and wouldn't mind a nice warm and light messaging with a smaller hammer lol Pretty sure it's galvanized someway, so I need to be careful with heat.

Oh yeah for sure, the galvanized stuff puts off some extremely toxic fumes. That stuff is no joke.

Doing a revision on the frame and need to get a tube silicone. But I now understand the purpose of the double decker tanko lol I learned from last year, hopefully this year I can start keeping grasshoppers. Once the second level is in, the grass can grow taller and they hopefully don't hit their heads as much lol
