Hello,
My name is Samantha and I am the proud mom to 2 teenagers, a 4 year old pit bull named Kevin, 55 gallons worth of fish and a lil beardie named Ottis.
I am always looking for ideas and answers to my q's that may come up. I had done alot of research before I got Ottis and was well prepared. He was purchased from a reputable local breeder and is spoiled beyond belief!! (pics to come soon) He is a like the reptilian child in my family and I want to make sure I have a good support network for any q's that I may have in the future.

I do have a q actually. How long should I wait to move Ottis into his 55gallon 'forever' home? He is still quite small right now (2 1/2 months) and the flat 20gallon I have him in has plenty of space and varying levels etc. I guess what i'm wondering is...what are the indicators that it is time for more space? I feed him in a separate container so the cricks don't nibble on him at night so that is a non-issue.
Any guideance would be appreciated.
BTW- This is BY FAR the best beardie site I have found!

Hello and welcome to the site Always good to see a fellow "Ontarian" around.

You can move him to his "forever" tank as soon as you'd like. Since you're feeding him in a separate container anyway, there's no worries about him having a hard time chasing down his food. If you think he'd enjoy the extra space to run around in, then move him on over

Thank you for the advise. I was told that it may be too much space for him right now as he is so small he may get stressed? or something? I always try to take all advise/guideance with a grain of salt and weigh that info with research.
