I'm a bad mom.

I messed up Ruby's time and he was up from about 11pm until 1am. He moved to his basking spot and waited for the TV which somehow wasn't on. I hugged him and apologized. I cut the light off, held him for awhile then put him back in his enclosure to fall asleep. He did. He stayed on the basking rock as opposed to his normal area.
I feel horrible.

I don't think Ruby will be offended by you. Sometimes they choose strange places to sleep on their own. I'm sure he'll go to his usual place the next day.

The other day I forgot Mirage was hiding in his rock and panicked.. He was sleeping and I woke him up...

Thank you everyone, you're right... he could've went in his hide. I beat myself up yesterday but I'm better today. He's back on schedule and ate blueberries from my hand. We made up.... until his hissed at me. Another normal day.

I just asked Ruby why he didn't go into the hide. He asked me why did I touch his timer.
I walked away in shame. He's right
