Haha, I'm a teenager still, technically. And I still count every damn cricket in the stupid bag :silent:
If people are buying for beardies, or consistently come in ordering large numbers though, I refer them to a nearby pet store that doesn't.
Much better deals than us in the first place, PLUS they give you like twice as many as you asked for. Amazing

where i live i get like 36 crickets for like 5 dollars. and non of the stores sell supersworms or any thing else like that

Just wanted to add my story. That happened to me last night also! I went into petsmart and got 100 crickets and he was counting 1 by 1 well I had turned around and came back and he handed the bag to me so I payed went home and counted them and wala there was only 80 in there!!!!!! So I called the store and she said I hope you have the reciept, and I said I sure do so went back the next day and got them! The only reason I got them there cuz im waiting for my mail order!! :x

YARGH! I know the feeling! The other thing a hate about petsmart's cricket ways is that after they've counted the exact 12, you get into the car and realize that one is dead/dying. Why are they so darn anal about the crickets. It's not like they take an inventory of them at the end of the day.

Sorry had to respond (yet I didn't finish the thread). I know when I worked there in 2007 we inventoried the crickets every couple days.. and the fish (including feeder fish). Really annoying, but someone had to do it. When we took out dead ones, we had to count too.
