My girlfriend and I were out on some dirt roads to over near our property in Arizona today. She spotted the lil guy in the road as we were hualing azz out through there. We turned around and went back. He/she was cold and not moving very fast, so I got him and put him over in the brush in the direction he was already traveling. That's the second one we've carried out of the road. Neither was a bit agressive with me. I think they are kind of cool, and they native to here to.
I used to be like that also, but since I started keeping beardies and frequenting reptile stores I've gained an appreciation for most any kind of animal. I used to hunt and fish and such, now I do all my shooting with a camera. I've pretty much lost all my unrational fear of things like spiders and try to just observe them instead of ..... well giving them the ole boot lol.
Heck last year I got out and took pics of a western diamond back from about 3 foot. My girlfriend wasn't impressed to say the least rofl
I'm honestly not sure. I need to research and see what species are native to here. The other one we relocated had a lot of red. This one was more plain looking.
