I'm so happy I'm almost crying  ! Trex now has a UVB tube and a new basking bulb!!!! The UVB is a 10.0 T8 and his Bulb is a exoterra 150 ww (it's not too close to him) He is moving around more EVEN THOUGH IT'S ONLY BEEN 15 MINUTES AHHHH!! He looks happier and I can't wait to see what he acts like after a full day of UVB rays! I also got him crickets (they are in a 2 gallon terrarium) and I'm hoping they'll breed so I don't have to buy anymore *giggles* . I still don't have a way to measure the temp. but hopefully he'd be fine for a while. I hope I can at least lesson the chances of his MBD and stop it from killing him, (he's 10 y.o. and I want him to die naturally) god I'm just so happyy!
That's good, trying to give Trex dragon a comfortable life for his last years. Do you have any pics ? Since you're in CA> can you get him out in the sun for 30 minutes a day if it's not to stressful ?
BTW, raising crickets is not TOO hard but it takes a long time for them to grow.

It's getting colder here in CA and it's a cloudy week so going outside right now is a no no  but i did take him outside a couple days ago for 2-3 hours!
I'm at school right now but the tank is a 75 gallon with a glass like thing in the middle of the top of the cage. It has two mesh lids so i don't know how to connect them with the glass divider in the way. If I connect them i wouldn't be able to open the cage...
