I bought a dragon which was a very small dragon, maybe a week or 2 old and he isnt eating his crickets. I bought baby food and he will lick it off my fingers. He will watch the crickets but thats about it. He is very active and and drink when spritzed any ideas on anything else?
How long have you had it? Has it eaten on its own? Can you hold the crix in your fingers or tongs for it? Will it eat some salad? Try baby food and crix in a bowl so easier to catch?
I have only had it for 2 days. It is eating a little baby food off finger tips. And it will drink water too but it don't want nothing to do with Crickets
I have tried greens too but only baby food like chicken is what he eats. And thats when I rub it on his mouth and a little coaxing.
Give it time to acclimate to the new surrounding and eventually it will eat. Mine did that too when I first brought them home. One ate in the beginning but then quit for two weeks and then started eating again. Put the cage in a nice, quiet, low-traffic area where nothing can bother him to get him use to the new home; it helps him adjust quicker this way. Only disturb him when you are going to feed and water him and then just leave him be. He will come around. I promise!
