My daughter just moved out for college and she had to leave her 4 year old beardie with me.. I think he is very sick. He isnt acting like himself, he was dry heaving and i think its called reaching the past couple days. Now he is doing it a little bit but today he was pooping and while he was doing that he hit his head a couple times on the glass of his tank and he was thrashing his head back and forth while stuff was flying out of his mouth. I cant take him to the vet because i do not have the money to pay for the bill. I have called everywhere within a 50 mile radius and no where will do payment plans and i dont qualify for carecredit.. what do i do? I desperately need help, i cant lose him.

Hello,

Is he still throwing up? What are your temperatures in the tank, could he not be getting warm enough?
If you don't have a digital probe or temp gun, the temperatures may not be optimal for him.
I don't see where you mentioned a UVB light?
Is his beard dark right now? He could have a respiratory issue going on possibly. Do you have a
nebulizer?

Hey! I'm planning on ordering a 4x2x2 for my next beardie but I'm worried about lighting. I have a UVA and a UVB but they are small (the UVA just being a bulb and the UVB being 12 ish inches?) My house is drafty so I need a strong light that puts off quite a good amount of heat, any suggestions?
cookie event at my library today, quite fun! Made some bracelets for my comrades too, to give them at church in the morning. Got a busy day tomorrow even though I’m off work… i go back on tuesday so atleast I’ll have 2 days off to rewind….then back to hell lol
