And ask till you understand, there is no judgment here, we just want everyone and every beardie to have the best life together possible 🙂
Hi, again.. so basically it's been three days since i over fed him, and he won't eat. He seems to be scared of the meal worm and he runs away.. I'm getting nervous

Try to source some small dubia roaches, you can offer him black soldier fly larvae (also know as calci worms/grubs or Phoenix worms) , small crickets (don't leave them in his habitat overnight they bite) small hornworms (good for hydration) small silkworms. Anything but the crickets you can put in a small bowl, glazed porcelain or glazed ceramic work good, the roaches can't climb them to get out. Beardies are movement triggered so moving bugs may entice him to eat.

No meal worms please they are too harsh on their stomachs -- I can post links for website for worms/ insects and UVB fixtures etc please ask if you need them

Ok if it doesn't work, should I massage to pass leftover food that might be in his stomach and then force feed?

I wouldn't. If your a little to firm you could hurt him, same with force feeding. He should start eating on his own, if he doesn't you can get Oxbow critical care online or from some vets. It is very effective with sick or under nourished beardies. For a baby I would use the carnivore variety.
Also leave a mix of greens in his habitat during the day. If it's just relocation stress he may sneak and eat them when no one is around.

Ok, I'll need a website for worms and insects
Hes not going to eat w/ out proper temps and UVB-- what is going on w/ the UVB did you get a new one or have you ordered one ? Here are some sites for the insects etc
www.dubiaroaches.com - great hornworms get small and a small amount they grow quickly and feed off right away - put them on top of your salads - small super worms also on top of the salads like 3 of them or so these are treat worms -
www.symtonbsf.com - BSFL great staple for babies I would order medium - the bowl you have may keep them in I dont know - feed 20-25 first thing in the morning on top of his salads - they are good lures to the salad bowl and good hand tamers - you can also get roaches and worms from this site as well --
www.reptilianarts.com they have silk worms - good staple -
www.joshsfrogs.com
Order the roaches no bigger than the space between his eyes go by the chart on dubia roaches.com -- they are a better staple feeder than crickets and keep longer - I can help you set up a tank to keep them in - its cheaper in the long run to do this
Please get him off the sand -- babies are sloppy eaters and you dont want him eating sand it will impact him - I would look at getting some textured NON adhesive shelf liner cut to the size of the tank - clean w/ vinegar/ water 50/50

Hi! 👋 I put these two bulbs, they are definitely better than the other one I had.. I just bought two light stands so they don't burn my tank, I will order insects as soon as the food passes, (he hasn't ate for 4 days 🥲) I will change the substrate to carpet for now, and I am soaking him everyday to see if it passes. Tysm for all the tips!

The UVB bulb is going to kill him -- please get a long tube fixture like the Zoo Med posted or a 24" Arcadia Pro T 5 12% bulb immediately--- if hes eating nothing for 4 days he will not survive much longer --- babies cannot go long w/ out something to eat --

Coils are inadequate and will cause all kinds of health issues including MBD --which will / can lead to death-- please get rid of it---- for good UVB for now take him outside in a plastic tote NO glass NO lid supervise him I dont know how hot it is where you are but you dont want to leave him and have either a predator get him or over heat -- 15 minutes in the sun I recommend not placing on you since hes so young you dont want to lose him -- they are fast ---

Hey! I'm planning on ordering a 4x2x2 for my next beardie but I'm worried about lighting. I have a UVA and a UVB but they are small (the UVA just being a bulb and the UVB being 12 ish inches?) My house is drafty so I need a strong light that puts off quite a good amount of heat, any suggestions?
cookie event at my library today, quite fun! Made some bracelets for my comrades too, to give them at church in the morning. Got a busy day tomorrow even though I’m off work… i go back on tuesday so atleast I’ll have 2 days off to rewind….then back to hell lol
The head tilt tho! Aaaahhh
