I have had my bearded dragon since Valentine's Day and I have been feeding him crickets while I've been waiting for my dubia Roach colony to establish itself. but I got impatient so I ordered some three quarter inch dubias for feeders.
my question as how many dubious should I be feeding him. he was eating about 20 cricket a day but he didn't seem to enjoy him and I ended up and feeding him most of them.
my dragon is about 10 months old just anestimate 14 inches long missing just a small bit of tail and he weighs about 9 ounces. I would like to know what is the proper amount that I should be feeding him I would like to not over feed him but I do not want to under feed him as well any help would be much appreciated
Is their a point ware he could eat to much? He did not like crickets and wouldn't really go after them but he absolutely loves dubious and can eat 20 in under 3 min. I just don't want to feed him too much if he does not stop eating
They usually won't eat more than they can handle. There are always exceptions of course, but from what I've seen, they'll lose interest or hit the 10 minute mark and have enough.
