I have 2 questions (1. Roach colony) (2. Live plants)

1. Is it hard to starting/maintain a roach colony?
Im not super worried about it myself but ill be going to college next summer and since I have to be in a dorm room my first year Mollie will have to stay with my mom. College is only like 40 mins away from home I just wanna know if I start one now if itll be hard to keep it going because ive never had one so idk how hard it is, and if not then ill start one inna a year, we just have to live in a dorm the first year then I can live in an on campus apartment which is cheaper and so my mom will only have her for a little under a year. Again if its to hard itll just order bugs for home from college no worry. My mom loves Mollie, im still in high school so she takes care of her when Im not there for some reason so shell be a great grandmother for only a year because I want her back lol.

2. What are good live plants that I can water and grow inside of Mollies viv that is safe for her to eat whenever she wants?
She always eats the fake ones so I take them out but I would like to get her real ones. Just wanna be cautious on which ones I get

It takes a good year to get a colony going- I never intended to start roaches but all my roaches were put together and just bred- I haven't ordered roaches for a long time- you can check out this website to learn more about starting them www.dubiaroaches.com
