As you know Ruby is my best friend now while Rocky hides out. Rocky totally isn't brumating, I don't know what he's doing. Actually, he's resting from me because he's in his hide but peeks out every day and watches the Window from his enclosure. Anyway, when I talk, Ruby intensly watches me. When I say his name, his eyes tune in attentively but he scares me. Those pupils zone in. He doesn't come to me or try to harm me but for some reason I think he wants to eat me. I'm so glad his room is downstairs.
I think he's plotting.
When I get really scared, I give him a superworm and everything is a o k.
By the way, if I try to do that closer to bedtime, he won't eat as there's not enough basking time left in the day. Or perhaps he's full but Ruby is a garbage can, he eats everything.
Today he looked at my finger but kept saying to himself, "she won't be satisfied until I bite her again but I'll be nice today....when will she ever learn?"
