Done and done ✅ I’m going to get the tart Cherry juice now. Do I need to dilute it in water or pedialyte?

Am I just freaking out or do her scales look off. To me it looks like her side spikes are detaching from the skin and trying to fall off. The skin on the back of her head looks way thinner and super pink for some reason (like it raw) and her skin feels extremely rough compared to her normal smooth soft skin. Those dark black spots don’t look good either. I think I’m on the verge of a panic attack at this point. None of this makes sense. Does it look abnormal to you? I’ll send a pic of her before too so you can see the difference.

Thank you so much for your help! I really do appreciate more than words can express 🙏🏼 I just got home with the juice so I’m going to give it a try.

Hello,

How is she doing today? Those spots don't look good. They just began cropping up recently?
What is your humidity in the tank?
Did she like the cherry juice I hope? You can give it straight or dilute it slightly so she gets extra
oral fluids. Thanks for the pictures, she is a beautiful girl. I don't see marked swelling but there
is puffiness & with her uric acid levels being higher I do believe the cherry juice should be used
daily for awhile with reduced protein intake, too.
Were you wanting to get her on gout medication?

The spots started a couple of months ago and the vets all said everything looked normal and nothing to worry about but as time went on they started popping up more and more and the I took her to a new vet today and he said it definitely isn’t normal and doesn’t look good but didn’t address the issue or elaborate on it whatsoever. He was rushing and took blood work and gave a prescription for gabapentin and a 3 med mixture for liver. He said he wanted to wait on the blood work results and will be back to the clinic next Tuesday. He didn’t even give me time to explain what’s going on completely or have time to address all of my concerns. I mentioned a previous vet said she had an enlarged liver at one point so that’s what he’s blindly treating. So, After already spending thousands on vet bills, this was Another $400 for a shot in the dark I guess. I took a fecal sample and he didn’t even want to test it, he said it wouldn’t show him anything. She’s still in pain today but after giving a little of that juice yesterday she finally pooped (after a week of nothing) and then she showed interest in crickets and went at them as if she was absolutely starving. I only gave her 4-5 though. Her silkworms are supposed to be delivered today according to the tracking info. I’m going to give her more juice today, it’s the most improvement I’ve seen from anything else ever tried. You are a true lifesaver and I can’t thank you enough. What do you think the spots could be from?

I can’t remember the last time I saw her bask….also she jumped/climbed from the floor onto the couch today lol she drank water from her dish and almost drowned herself, she scared me to death. I turned her upside down a few times. I didn’t know what else to do. I tried to research but no info about how to handle that. Her breathing sounds a bit raspy too the last couple of days. So I’ve avoided putting a water dish in her house. I feel like there’s just so many things happening that I can’t keep up. I just wish someone would actually take the time to thoroughly examine her and diagnose and treat everything that’s going on with her. I’m running ragged over here. It took me 3+ hours to get her to take her 2 medications and in the meantime tried feeding her but she had no interest. And yes, What medication is used for gout? And how do I get it?

Uric acid test needs to be done- allopurinol is usually prescribed - what are you feeding for insects?
