I gave my bearded dragon a today and after her bath I lightly patted her dry and put her back in her tank and I walked a way for about an hour and I came back she is missing a top layer of skin and she started bleeding but it looks like she bleeding from in inside of a light layer of skin. If that makes any sense. What do I do will she be okay. She was not shedding at the time when this happened

Her age: 9 months
Her basking side is 100 degrees
Cool side:72
We use a reptile carpet for your tank
And for her bath I used reptile electrolyte soak. She was in the bath for about 10 min maybe 7.

Hello,

Do you have any pictures you could post for us, that would greatly help out.
If that area is raw, you could try getting some unpasteurized honey or silver gel to put on the
area to help it heal up.
Could she have suffered a burn somehow, what is the distance from her to the basking light?

That looks like damage from glass surfing or rubbing her face on decor. What size habitat is she in and please go over your lighting setup. What type of uvb are you using, is it coil/compact or long tube, how old is it, where is it placed (on the screen or under). What are you using for basking, what are the temos and how are you getting them. The lighting is critical to there well being and behavior. Are you sure about her age? If she where gravid she would likely glass surf, but 9 months is young to be gravid.
If you can, post pics of you setup, especially the lighting, if something is off a bit we can help you get it on point.

That isn't a long tube uvb, it still a compact/coil , its just sideways in stead of straight up and down (from what i can tell from the pic) you need either a ZooMed 24 inch or an Arcadia 24 inch with a 12% bulb. Those compact/coil bulbs aren't good and will cause problems. Also i see a red light in the dome, please remove it, colored light damages their eyes, and if used at night disrupt their sleep. Beardies like a cool DARK place to sleep, just like us they don't want light at night. If your home gets below 68ish degrees at night use a ceramic heat emitter for night time heat, they don't produce any light judt heat. At 9 months old she is going to want 95 to 100 degrees basking temp. Please use a digital probe thermometer to take the temps, they are the most accurate.
This is a link to the type uvb you need, please upgrade to this or something similar asap. (If I'm right about your bulb being a compact). If it screws in like a regular light bulb it is a compact.

What is a quick way to warm up a cold beardie? His heating element went out overnight and now he's very cold.
