Hey everyone! I am a new Beardie owner, I have a little girl about 3 1/2 months old. I've had her a little over a month now and just recently started having abnormal humidity level issues. Throughout the day the humidity level stays between 20-40 degrees but at night time when I turn her lights off I notice it spikes up and in the morning when I return to turn her lights on its in the 70 range!! I'm really worried and have no idea how to solve this issue, I do not want this to affect my little girls health. Please any feedback will be helpful. Thank you.
P.s She is not acting abnormal and hasn't had any shed issues. She has a healthy appetite ( really healthy) lol and seems fine, but Respiratory issues are very tricky to spot
Do you have a water bowl in the tank ? If so remove it --- they do usually spike at nite 70 is pretty high - you can get a dehumidifier for the room to take out the humidity --

I wouldn't really worry about nighttime humidity too much.
What are you measuring your humidity with? The dial hygrometers? If so those are quite inaccurate just like the thermometers are.
I live in a coastal area in the subtropics and rarely see %RH under 60% except in winter or on days like today when "the Doctor" is blowing hot dry gales from the interior of Australia , down to 22% RH and nudging 90 degC today.
I'd do nothing about the in tank humidity unless is stuck in the high 70s or 80s.
That said . I know of people in who breed and keep centrals who live in Darwin, Cairns, and Hedland where there are only 2 seasons ( monsoon = very hot and very wet , extreme humidity , and dry = winter = very hot , very dry) and their dragons do just fine ( are actually kept in caged / pits outdoors ).
