So I’ve had my beardie for a while and been able to keep hungry down with heat in his 20 gal. Now that’s he’s in a huge 48” 24” 18” it’s really hard to keep humidity down. I have a smaller heating lamp on the cooler side to keep humidity down, but do you have any other suggestions? Lucky he’s right above an air vent but will that make his cage cold?
What are the humidity levels in his tank? What are you measuring the temperatures in the
tank with, a digital probe or a temp gun?
That is a nice sized tank he has now, I am sure he loves that too. Are the air vents not blowing
on his tank directly?
If you feel that the humidity levels are too high, you can always try using a dehumidifier to help
decrease the humidity some. You can have the levels at or around a range of 20-40% & that is
acceptable.
