I have had a bearded dragon for a few weeks now, so far everything is going well, except for the hot side humidity. It is a 120 gallon enclosure, the hot side ambient is 85, the cool side ambient is 80, the basking spot is 105, and the cool side humidity is in the lower 30s. The hot side ambient however is stuck in the upper 20s no matter what I do. Is an upper 20s humidity dangerous to bearded dragons?
I like to keep my enclosure between 30% to 40% (55% at night) but there are always variations.
If you want to raise it, there are lots of ways, the simplest being spritzing it with a little water (I use distilled) a couple/few times a day.
I use live plants (NOT bioactive) to help control humidity, but as with anything, there are pros & cons.
(Good thing I proof-read; I just typed "pants" )
